Keeping Kids Safe to Do What Kids Love Most!

Created as result of the kidnapping and murder of a seven year old little girl, and developed with the assistance of law enforcement, Pioneer Federal Credit Union KinderVision is dedicated to the protection of children from those who would harm them. The KinderVision® program was first offered in June of 1991 and continues to be available to families as a free community service all across the country.

Pioneer Federal Credit Union's KinderVision is an educational program available in English and Spanish which disseminates valuable safety information to families in video form. The Pioneer Federal Credit Union KinderVision video contains a special message narrated by law enforcement which provides critical safety information for the protection of children. It is designed to be used as an ongoing educational resource within the home for parents to teach their children how to be safe when they are not with them. It enables parents to periodically instruct their children on circumstances to avoid and to reinforce ways to protect their children from harm in a relaxed family setting. Through the use of child actors and the Pioneer Federal mascot KindiBear, the educational segment demonstrates safety techniques and presents information in such a way that small children can easily understand.

Participating families receive the Pioneer Federal KinderVision® child safety education video absolutely FREE! Your child will be recorded on the end of the educational video so your children will want to watch the video and learn the valuable safety information contained in it.

Child Safety Tips:

Be aware of strangers asking for directions, help with finding their dog, or telling you that your mom needs you. If someone approaches you, run away and scream for help.  Always stay with your friends while playing or in a public place. There is safety in numbers.
