Nicole Navarro joined KBOI 2News in June of 2007. She grew up in Portland and moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon.
During her senior year of college, Nicole became the president of U of O's National Broadcasting Society. After graduating with a degree in journalism, she began her broadcasting career at KEZI-TV in Eugene. She was hired as a production assistant and eventually moved her way up to Corvallis Bureau Chief in the fall of 2004.
In Nicole's free time, she enjoys running, dining out, snowboarding, enjoying the great outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Kayaker missing on North Fork of Payette
The Valley County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing kayaker around 11:48 a.m. Tuesday. The 19 year-old man was reported to be an expert kayaker, and was wearing a life-vest and a helmet when he disappeared in the Payette river.
