Police: Two suspects busted on felony DUI charges

Police have arrested two more people over the weekend on felony DUI charges.

Authorities say on Saturday at about 10 p.m. near Chinden and Five Mile, they found a vehicle driven by Conner Hoy that had struck a large ACHD traffic control box.

Police say as they arrived, the 24-year-old Hoy fled on foot into a nearby field leaving his female passenger at the scene.

After a brief foot chase, Hoy was detained. The passenger was transported to a local hospital with what appear to be non life threatening injuries.

In a separate case, Boise Police say they saw a vehicle driving slowly on Overland early Saturday morning pull into a parking lot. Officers observed the driver trade seats with the passenger. The car continued on veering into traffic near Palouse and Roosevelt on the Bench.

Officers later contacted the first driver as Lee Davis, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, according to police.

Police say Davis has had two prior convictions for DUI, making this a felony.
