BOISE - After weeks of seeking comment, 2News finally has heard the city's side of the issue.

In an official legal response to the lawsuit, the Boise City Attorney's office denies all charges and asks for the case to be dismissed.

BOISE - A man who police say drove his motorcycle drunk and crashed near the Boise Depot killing his passenger last year has been sentenced to prison.

Patrick Fairchild was sentenced to 15 years in prison (one fixed) for the vehicular manslaughter charge.

BOISE - Police arrested a Boise man Friday after authorities say he inappropriately touched a juvenile female.

Officials say Jerry W. Grissett, 54, allegedly touched the girl at a Boise Bench home Jan. 6. The girl was under the age of 15 and police say was well known to the suspect.

Late Friday, into early Saturday morning, residents in the area of Malad St. & Vista Ave and W. Cherry Ln. & Vista reported several vehicle burglaries.
Communities Fairmont students raise money for Haiti relief
Some Boise schools are starting, or trying to start, fund-raising efforts to help victims from the Haiti Earthquake. One such school is Fairmont Jr. High on Cole Road.

This week, students are distributing donation jars to classrooms at the school, said teacher Karen Andreason.
