Nothing news worthy here, but this tree just seemed odd.

The top section of the tree (by the Sonic on North Orchard) just doesn't seem to agree with the rest of itself.

Wasn't particularily breezy this day.

Borah High School and Hillcrest Elementary Schools are proud to announce the implementation of the Lunch Buddy Program between the two schools.

The high school has more than 75 elementary students paired with approximately 60 Borah High students.

Authorities say on Saturday at about 10 p.m. near Chinden and Five Mile, they found a vehicle driven by Conner Hoy that had struck a large ACHD traffic control box.

Boise Police were called by the victim to a fight in the neighborhood southwest of S. Latah St. and Alpine St just after midnight this morning.

When officers arrived they found a man with what appeared to be a cut to his hand standing outside an apartment.

The Boise School District says more than a dozen students may have come in contact with mercury Wednesday at Borah High School.

Dan Hollar, spokesman, says the mercury spill occurred at about noon Wednesday. He says 14 students came into contact in an English class.

Authorities have arrested a Boise man on felony driving under the influence after they say they saw him driving erratically on the Boise Bench.

Boise Police say they saw a vehicle speeding and swerving within its lane early Friday (March 5) just after midnight as it travelled eastbound on Overland.

Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of Overland Road Tuesday at approximately 3:30 p.m.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is in the Treasure Valley this week. It is making a journey across the Northwest.

Hotdoggers will be handing out wiener whistles and giving tours of the Wienermobile.

Oscar Mayer is also promoting the "Good Mood Mission".

The victim tells police the suspect, Ebadullah Temori, who is a relative, began a verbal argument that escalated into a physical fight.
