BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The focus turns to online sales on Cyber Monday after a busy holiday shopping weekend.
"I work tomorrow, so we'll see," said Krista Ball of Nampa. "If I'm not busy, I may look online a little bit, yes."
Online sales last year hit $1.5 billion, and experts say this year could reach closer to $2 billion.
"I do shop on Cyber Monday because the prices are better and the convenience is phenomenal," said George Moses of Boise. "Now that the merchants have gone to free shipping, there's really no downside except for a couple of day wait."
On Thanksgiving Day, cyber sales rose 19.7 percent compared to a year ago. The National Retail Federation says eight in ten stores will offer special Cyber Monday deals.
Walmart and other retailers call it "Cyber Week" because many of the sales started Sunday and last several days.
