Event Description

Nampa-- Miss Idaho, Kylie Kofoed and her family will headline the 4th annual “eleven” & Friends Family Christmas Show. The Kofoed family of 12 has toured nationally and each year hosts the holiday extravaganza at the Nampa Civic Center.
This year, the Kofoed family will be sharing the stage with the Epic Ballet Company, the Eagle High School Sign Language Club, Swing Dancers and many more. Plus, there will be a special guest appearance by one of the most popular celebrities of all time—Santa Claus!
The evening is designed for families to escape the bustle and flurry of the holidays and to celebrate and capture the wonderful spirit of Christmas.
The evening’s host, Miss Idaho, Kylie Kofoed was the featured soloist for the 2010 Hymns of Thanksgiving Concert that was taped in November at Qwest Arena and is currently airing on PBS. “My platform for my reign as Miss Idaho focuses on strengthening the family. I’m so excited that this evening will give my family and friends a chance to lend a hand to families who really need some help at this time,” said Kofoed.
The concert is Monday, December 20, 2010 at 7:00p.m at the Nampa Civic Center. Tickets range from $20 for a family pass, $7 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Tickets can be purchased by calling 468.5555 or at www.nampaciviccenter.com.

Beautiful sites at the Sawtooth mountain range during the end of summer. Mt. McGowen is easily viewed not far from Stanley, at Stanley lake. The viewpoint of the whole Sawtooth range is located several miles south of Stanley. The Salmon River winds along the Highway in front of the range.
