Reno Mayor Robert Cashell and University of Nevada-Reno President Milton Glick co-signed a letter to Boise fans apologizing for inappropriate fan behavior following BSU's loss last week.

"We have become aware that some Nevada Fans demonstrated inappropriate behavior towards many Boise State fans during your visit. For that we sincerely apologize," the letter read.

Several photos published by the Idaho Statesman show fans taunting Boise State players after the game, some with obscene gestures. Other fan accounts include excessive verbal harassment in Reno casinos, as well as being pelted with snowballs and other objects while leaving Mackay Stadium after the game.
