State representative Eric Anderson was tased Thursday.
BOISE - State Representative Eric Anderson was a brave volunteer on Thursday.
The lawmaker opted to get tased.
"Oh, oh geez, stop, whoa," Anderson said screeching.
He was looking to last five seconds but managed three. The commotion was loud enough to garnish a small crowd. Capitol security hurried to the scene to see if everything was OK.
Several bills regulating the use of stun guns have been introduced in the legislature this session. One requiring a concealed weapons permit to carry a taser died in committee.
So, how did it feel?
"Like nothing I've ever felt before," Anderson said. "I was totally incapacitated - still am a little bit. There's nothing I could have done."
