Former Borah High teacher headed to prison
BOISE – A former Borah High School teacher is heading to federal prison for possessing child porn.

The U.S. Attorney’s office in Boise says that Ron Neil was sentenced to 32 months behind bars. The judge also recommended a sex offender treatment program in Massachusetts.

Neil’s defense attorneys revealed in court that Neil had been abused as a child and sought treatment for that abuse.

The former teacher taught economics at Borah since 1995 and was the school’s tennis coach.
