Woman pulled from burning home in Boise
BOISE - A woman was pulled from her burning home late Tuesday and a firefighter hurt his neck battling the blaze.

The Boise Fire Department was called to the home on Cabarton Lane in Boise at about 10:30 p.m. for a fire in a basement utility room. One resident was pulled from an upstairs bedroom window.

She was not injured. Two others in the house and some pets made it out OK.

A firefighter suffered a minor neck injury as he went into the fire.

"Upon his descent into the basement, (the firefighter) was accidentally struck by another firefighter ...," said Jeff LaBour, Boise battalion chief.

LaBour said because of the weather conditions, smoke hung in the air - causing smoke damage throughout the home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
