BOISE- From painters, to theater groups to poets, an impressive cross section of Idaho artists are now emerging in the heart of BoDo.
A new program called Artists in Residence is granting local artists free studio space in the 8th Street Marketplace in BoDo.
The program gives a three to four local artists studio space for three months.
The artists say this is an opportunity to grow and benefit from the community.
"It makes you feel like everything that you write is sort of being published because people are going to come by and see that you are writing and talk about it," said Adrian Kien, a local poet taking part in the project.
For the free space the artists are asked to leave one work of art behind for a gallery.
You can meet the artists and see their work in their studios on 'First Thursday.
