WILDER - Three people were killed following a car crash in Canyon County Tuesday night.

Idaho State Police say the crash occurred at the intersection of Red Top and Batt Corner Roads at about 8:30 p.m.

Idaho State Police say there were two cars involved in the crash, and believe it happened when the driver of a blue GMC pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection.

Investigators say the GMC collided with a white Toyota pickup truck, which was headed west on Red Top Road.

The people killed in the crash include: the driver of the GMC, Steve Mark, 28, his passenger Kevin Snow, 21, both of Caldwell, and the driver of the Toyota was Gaines "Mowby" Davidson, 37, of Boise.

Davidson is a former owner of Tom Graineys, a popular Boise downtown bar.

"These rural intersections are extremely dangerous," said Idaho State Police Sgt. John Burke. "People (need) to be very cautious when they're approaching these intersections - don't always anticipate the other person is going to stop."

Idaho State Police say the man who was driving the Toyota was taken by Life Flight to Saint Alphonsus where he was pronounced dead.

The crash is still under investigation.
