BOISE - A Mountain Home man has been arrested for two DUIs - all in the same night.

Boise Police says say on Thursday at 9:19 p.m. they were called to a crash near Vermont and Belmont. Officials say evidence indicates that the driver, later identified as Randy Reynolds, was westbound on University when he decided to avoid traffic by driving off the road onto a pedestrian sidewalk.

He crashed through a cement barrier, dragging the barrier under his pickup until he came to a stop at Belmont.

When police arrived they noticed the distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage. After performing field sobriety tests, the driver was arrested for DUI and blew a .26 BAC at the jail.

Officials say a few hours later, at about 12:19 a.m. just after midnight Reynolds was observed by police driving Southbound on Broadway.

The vehicle was observed swerving side to side within its lane and traveling at a slow speed in the 35 mile per hour zone. Officers stopped the driver later identified as Reynolds. He was arrested for DUI again and blew a .22 BAC at the jail.
