Woman killed in crash near Firebird identified
BOISE - Authorities say one person has been killed in a car crash Sunday.

Ada County Sheriff's say the single-vehicle rollover crash happened just after 1:15 p.m. on Highway 16 near Firebird Raceway. One passenger of the Dodge pick-up truck, an adult female, was killed.

On Monday, the Ada County Coroner's office said the woman who died was Deborah Colley, 41 of Nampa. She died of blunt force trauma.

A second passenger, a young boy, and the driver of the truck, an adult male, were flown by helicopter to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The severity of those injuries and their condition are not known.

The Dodge was driving south on Highway 16, went off the right side of the road and rolled multiple times. Witnesses heard the crash and reported it to dispatchers.

Members of the Sheriff's Traffic Enforcement team were at the scene gathering information they will use to reconstruct the crash and try to determine what caused the truck to leave the road and roll. Because the truck rolled away from the highway, traffic was not stopped during the investigation.
