PAYETTE - Authorities in Washington County say the body of a missing Payette man has been pulled out of the Snake River.

Marvin Williams, Washington County sheriff, says a group of fishermen found the body of Frank Orendor over the weekend about five miles west of Weiser. The body was near the shore on the Oregon side of the river.

Police were notified about two weeks ago about an empty, running vehicle parked at the north end of Centennial Park near the Snake River.

Officials say they searched the vehicle and weren't able to locate the owner. Police then spoke with family members who said he was disoriented at the time.

Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of death.
