BOISE - Authorities have arrested two Boise men who they say used the Internet to allegedly entice teenagers to meet them for sex.

Police say on June 8, Scott Alan McQuigg, 45, of Boise, talked online with a detective who was posing as a teenage girl. McQuigg spoke about his intent to have sexual contact with the girl and arranged to meet her at a public place, officials say.

When McQuigg arrived at the location, he was taken into custody. McQuigg was booked into the Ada County Jail on a charge of sexual enticement of a minor over the Internet. He remains in custody on a $100,000 bond.

On Wednesday, June 17, officials say Daniel Aaron Cooper, 45, of Boise talked online with a detective posing as a 15-year-old boy. Cooper spoke about his intent to have sexual contact with the boy and arranged to meet him at a local residence.

When Cooper arrived at that location, he was taken into custody. Cooper was booked into the Ada County Jail on a charge of sexual enticement of a minor over the Internet. He was arraigned on the charge today and is being held on a $100,000 bond.

Both of these arrests are the result of work by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
