Michelle Farley, 40, was taken away in handcuffs in an Ada County courtroom Friday.
Farley was charged with having sex with one of her students at her home on multiple occasions. Prosecutors say the sex acts did not occur on school grounds.
Farley taught psychology at Borah High and had been with the district since 1994. She made about $55,000 a year, school district officials say.
Farley will have to complete sex offender treatment and register as a sex offender.
