Anne Frank Memorial Vandalized
The Anne Frank Memorial in Julia Davis Park was vandalized overnight.
A tour group found her this morning and called police. Police aren't sure how the vandals managed to topple the bronze statue.
The statue had only minor damage to the head and finger. Both police and the board say they are disgusted by the act, and the park will remain open. They aren't sure how long it will take to get the statue upright again.
Boise Police called this a senseless act and against everything she and the city stands for and are desperately seeking information to help solve this crime. So far they do not have any suspects in the case yet and are asking the public if they saw anything to call them at 343-cops.
