LOWMAN - Drivers heading to Lowman saw an interesting spectacle on the side of the road Wednesday.

Boise County dispatch says a pilot flying a single engine airplane was forced to land on the Banks-Lowman road after the plane's engine gave out.

The plane landed safely near milepost 29 by Deadwood. No injuries were reported. The pilot was the only one one board.
