BOISE - Federal aviation officials say expect delays after an airplane attack on Christmas.
Dwayne Baird, a regional TSA spokesman in Salt Lake City says airports are ratcheting up security across the country. He says officials say they're ready with bomb-sniffing dogs, more police, gate screening, behavior detection and other measures seen and unseen.
What does that mean for you?
The TSA suggests you go ahead with your holiday travel, but be aware of what's going on around you, report suspicious behavior and arrive an hour earlier than usual for international flights.
Officials at Boise Regional won't say exactly what kind of changes travelers can anticipate, but they're referring all calls to regional authorities.
