Fruitland teen dies from rollover crash

BOISE - Authorities say a 17-year-old Fruitland teenager died from a rollover crash on Monday.

The Payette County Sheriff's office says a driver in a Honda Civic left the roadway on Echo Avenue when they left the road for an unknown reason. Police say the vehicle hit a cement ditch and overturned and landed on its roof.

Four people were inside and authorities say one of the passengers, Nickolaus Langdon, 17, died from his injuries.

It is unknown whether alcohol played a role in the crash.

The driver of the car, Dallas Tweedy, 17, was transferred to Holy Rosary Medical Center in Ontario. No word yet on Tweedy's condition.
