Missing Oregon woman found dead
EUGENE, Ore. -- Search crews found the body of a woman missing since Dec. 28, not far from where her unattended SUV was located Saturday.

Cindie Kogle, 41, was found dead Tuesday off Richardson Upriver Road. The cause and manner of death is pending investigation by the medical examiner.

Her body was found not far from where the sheriff's office discovered her red 1999 Nissan Pathfinder Jan. 2 off Highway 126 between Walton and Mapleton near the Wildcat Creek covered bridge.

As deputies investigated the abandoned vehicle, they discovered no one had seen Kogle since she left a River Road residence Dec. 28.

The sheriff's office said information received from the public following media coverage Monday assisted deputies in their investigation and search focus.
