Idaho cheerleading coach charged with sex abuse
PLUMMER, Idaho (AP) — A gym teacher at Plummer's Lakeside High School has been charged with sexual battery of a minor child ages 16 or 17 and sexual intercourse with a minor.

Twenty-six-year-old Darin J. DeBolt is also a cheerleading coach.

Plummer-Worley School District Superintendent Judi Sharrett says DeBolt has worked at the 130-student high school for five years. She says the district is fully cooperating with police.

The Spokesman-Review reports that DeBolt, a Spokane, Wash., resident, is being held at the Benewah County Jail on $50,000 bail.
