Senator Larry Craig says he did nothing wrong last June when he was arrested in an airport bathroom in Minnesota.
Some Idahoans just aren't buying into his reasoning for pleading guilty to disorderly conduct. "When you've got that much to lose, it's kind of a stupid thing to do," says Jim Sprouls.
It's still unclear whether Senator Craig plans to seek reelection in 2008. However, some Idahoans say he has a lot to do to redeem himself. Rod, who prefers his last name not be used, says "I don't have a problem with him apologizing. I just wish he wouldn't live two lives."
But the senator also has his supporters, who say his personal life is none of their business. "He's done a wonderful job up to this point," says Rick Eck.
Either way, most people say they'll be watching Senator Craig's future actions closely, because his future in Washington D.C. could ultimately impact all Idahoans.
