ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (AP) - A house explosion in southeastern Idaho has sent three members of a family to the hospital.

Officials with the Fremont County Sheriff's Office say the explosion happened at about 7 a.m. Wednesday, about two miles east of St. Anthony.

KIFI-TV reports a man was flown by helicopter to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls for treatment of burns while his wife and daughter were taken by ambulance to Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg. A cousin of the family told KIFI all three were in stable condition.

There was no immediate word on the condition of those injured or what caused the explosion and fire.
