BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A man involved in an alleged murder-for-hire plot last summer has been found guilty.

The Canyon County Prosecutor's Office says Lorenzo Corral was found guilty Friday.

The prosecutor's office says the plot to murder the man occurred last June.

According to court records, a 22-year-old woman, Krystn Sanchez, came into the Nampa Police Department and told officers of a plot to kill a man.

She told police that she, her boyfriend Jose de Jesus Rodriguez, and Jose's friend, Lorenzo Corral, had planned to kill Corral's ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.

Records indicate that Sanchez's job in the kill order was to lure the victim out of his house, and then transport him to the area of Black Cat and Greenhurst roads where Rodriguez and Lorenzo would be waiting. They apparently would then take the man to a secluded area and shoot him with a gun.

Officials say Krystn told them that Lorenzo offered to pay $5,000 to shoot and kill the victim.

Rodriguez was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Corral will be sentenced in August.
