Star woman identified, no cause of death listed
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Detectives are investigating the death of a Star woman reported Wednesday afternoon.

Star Police and the Ada County Sheriff's Office responded to a report from a caller around 2:30 p.m. who told them they found the woman dead in her home on the 10000 block of Wild Iris in Star.

Officials are calling the circumstances surrounding the death as "suspicious."

On Thursday, The Ada County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 55-year-old Taryn Ann Marcum of Star. No cause of death was found and the coroner says toxicology tests are underway.

Neighbors say two people lived inside the home, but said the couple kept to themselves.

Earlier Thursday morning a pickup truck was seen halfway into the garage at the home. A spokeswoman with Ada County says, at this point detectives are still trying to determine how Marcum died, but they say it's still early in the investigation.

No other details have been released about the investigation.
