BPD: Man pointed gun at door-to-door salesman's face
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A 26-year-old Boise man has been booked on allegations he threatened a door-to-door salesman with a gun, Boise Police says.

BPD said Friday a licensed salesman knocked on a homeowner's door on the 10000 block of West Susan Street Thursday at about 4 p.m. when the suspect opened the door and pointed a gun at the salesman.

The victim says the suspect, George Silva, began yelling and making threats against his life. At one point the suspect came out of the home and grabbed him as he attempted to leave, BPD says, pointing the gun in his face and making threats.

A co-worker heard the yelling and went to the front of the home, but Silva went inside the house. Officers established a perimeter for public safety and the suspect surrendered a short time later without incident.

A handgun was recovered from the home. Silva has been charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
