Shoplifting duo may be part of big retail crime spree, BPD says
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Two Boise residents have been booked on allegations of burglary at a local retail store, but officials say the trail of theft could be pretty long.

Boise PD says Peggy Williams, 47, and Lex Lowman, 49, went into a retail store on Milwaukee and put a stereo in a duffel bag. Police says Williams and Lowman removed a security device and exited the store without paying for the item.

As officers conducted the investigation, they obtained evidence that indicates the suspects may have been involved in a series of thefts over the past several months at retailers in the region.

BPD says the two suspects appear to have been working with others to steal merchandise from more than a dozen retail stores across the valley on several occasions over the past year.

Additional charges are pending and other suspects are under investigation.
