Woman, 34, kicked police officer in knee during arrest, BPD says

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Boise Police says a 34-year-old Boise woman was booked into the Ada County Jail over the weekend after she allegedly kicked an officer.

Authorities say a patrol officer spotted two men fighting in Ann Morrison Park on Sunday afternoon. The officer stopped the fight and started questioning the two men when police say Gwynn Boyd (aka Muller) interrupted the conversation.

BPD says Boyd was "repeatedly told to leave" but instead cursed at the officer. During the arrest, officials say she struggled and kicked the officer in the knee causing some swelling. She was later booked into the jail on felony battery on a police officer as well as misdemeanor resisting.

The two men who had been fighting were also arrested.
