Squirrel chaser busted with two grams of heroin, Boise PD says

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- A 25-year-old man has been booked into the Ada County Jail on drug charges after he was chasing squirrels earlier this week, Boise Police say.

BPD says officers were called to N. 23rd and Bannock Streets Wednesday over a report of a man chasing squirells with a stick.

Officers say they arrested Aaron Lehotsky for cruelty to animals, but BPD says officers found two grams worth of heroin in his possession.

Lehotsky has been booked on felony trafficking and misdemeanor cruelty to animals and resisting arrest.
