Police say man told teen to 'get in the car'
NAMPA - Nampa police are looking for a suspect they say tried to entice a child.

Officers say a man tried to get a 14 year old into his vehicle Sunday afternoon.

Police said the 14 year old girl was running on the Nampa Greenbelt near W. Georgia, just south of Nampa High School. Officers say she was approached by a white male around 2 p.m. The male pointed to a vehicle behind him and told the female to “get in the car”.

The teen ran from the car and police have still not been able to locate the suspect.

The female described the male as being in his early twenties, thin build, approx 5’06”, with medium length “dirty blonde” hair, and an earring in his left ear. He is described as wearing a navy blue shirt with a white logo on the front with black jeans, and carrying a black guitar case/bag. The vehicle is described as an unknown make or model black four door passenger car, with unknown plates.
