BOISE - NCAA basketball is here. If you haven't filled out that bracket yet, time is running out.
"Everybody is going to be talking about their brackets and how the games are going," said Jason Hudson, a NCAA fan.
But keeping up with the games could be costing employers. Businesses in the U.S. lost an estimated 1.2 billion in worker productivity during the NCAA tournament last year. This year, the costs could be even higher. CBS is carrying the games live on the internet.
Still, some people believe March Madness actually improves morale at the workplace, by getting people to interact with one another and increasing the level of fun.
At one men's store in Boise, employees welcome a little friendly competition.
"Everybody in the store so far has picked a different winner," said Bill Blanchard, another NCAA fan.
