Two killed in crash on Highway 55 near Banks
BANKS - Two people are dead following a rollover accident on Highway 55 near Banks.

Idaho State Police say a 1990 Jeep Cherokee with three occupants was traveling northbound and went off the right shoulder. The vehicle hit a rock causing the vehicle to roll over on its top.

Debra Kidder, 47, of Cascade and Jeffrey Helseth, 50 of Boise died at the scene, ISP says.

Officials say it is unknown at this time who was driving.

Carolyn Kidder, 24, of Payette was transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise with serious injuries.

Police say alcohol does appear to be a factor and seatbelts were worn at the time of the crash.

This crash is still under investigation.
