Want to ski in May? Head up to Brundage
McCALL - Near-record snowfall and consistently low spring temperatures are creating ideal conditions for a third bonus weekend at Brundage Mountain Resort, officials say.

The resort is now closed on weekdays, and had planned to host visitors for a final weekend this Saturday and Sunday. But 10 inches of fresh powder fell this week and now resort managers have decided to offer a third bonus weekend on May 3-4.

"Mother Nature has been extremely kind to us this year," said April Russell, resort spokesperson. "And our loyal visitors have shown that they are still interested in skiing and riding on the best snow in Idaho."

Resort operators will keep a close eye on conditions and customer interest to decide if additional weekends are possible.
