Sunfish caught in Elliott Bay
A giant sunfish, estimated to weight between 325-350 pounds, was caught in Elliott Bay earlier this week. The sunfish has been on display outside Sunfish Fish & Chips in West Seattle for several days and is creating quite a buzz around town. A local marine biologist with the Department of Fish and Wildlife thinks the sunfish was tracking jellyfish to eat as it made its way into the Puget Sound.
