BOISE - A Boise security guard has been arrested for allegedly stealing from the businesses he was hired to keep secure.

Boise Police say Justin Bonner, 21, was employed by a private security company and that he was stealing projectors from the business that hired the security company. Police were then tipped off that someone was selling projectors from a parking lot.

Each projector is worth about $500 - $700 and seven projectors were stolen. Another Boise resident, Sierra Gearhardt, 20, was also arrested for being involved, officials say.

Bonner and Gearhardt each face felony grand theft charges.
