Boise - Liberty Day Parade, Saturday at downtown Boise - 11 a.m. Fireworks at Ann Morrison Park for fireworks at about 10:20 p.m.

Meridian - Festivities start at 1 p.m. in Storey Park. Safe, sane fireworks for kids 9 p.m. Big fireworks will be lit at Meridian Speedway at dusk.

Caldwell - 4th of July Parade and Celebration: Parade -10 a.m., Family celebration in Memorial Park - 4 p.m. Fireworks - dusk at Simplot Stadium

Middleton - Fourth of July Celebration: Breakfast hosted by Middleton Fire District - 6:30 a.m., parade - noon downtown, fireworks at dusk

Melba - Melba Old Tyme Fourth of July Celebration: Fun Run 7a.m. Registration, parade - 9 a.m., fair starts at 9 a.m., fireworks at dusk

Marsing - Friday July 3 - BBQ, Fireworks, 4th Parade, classic car show, more BBQ

Vale, Ore., - Independence Run - 8 a.m. 4th of July Rodeo - 7 p.m.

Ontario, Ore., - Fireworks - 10:20 p.m. at the Fairgrounds
