CALDWELL – A pilot is dead after a small plane crashed at the Caldwell Airport on Saturday.
The Canyon County Coroner says 35-year old Justin Walker, originally from Nampa but resided in Mt. Pleasant Utah, was headed to Las Vegas when his plane crashed.
Authorities say last Saturday, just before 2 p.m., Walker's plane had taken off from the Caldwell Airport. There was a problem with the plane, so he had turned around to try to land. In doing so, he hit some power lines.
The plane crashed and burst into flames. Walker was the only one on-board and no one on the ground was hurt.
