FEATHERVILLE - Crews from the Elmore County say they've found two missing hunters who went missing for a night.
Elmore County Dispatch said the two Kansas hunters became separated from a group near Pine and Featherville Tuesday night. When they failed to return, another hunter called for help.
On Tuesday night, crews went to the original camp, but found nothing. The hunters "hunkered down" for the night, dispatch says, and made camp.
On Wednesday morning at about 9 a.m., emergency crews were preparing to do a full-blown search with the Civil Air Patrol when the hunters showed up a long the highway. Both were safe and in good condition.
