BOISE - Ada County Sheriff's detectives have arrested four men after they seized more than 120 pounds of marijuana on Thursday.

"Anytime you get 120 pounds of marijuana I think that's pretty significant." said Lieutenant Rajeev Sahni with the Ada County Sheriff's Office.

On Thursday at about 3 p.m., officials say Brook Vogt, 33, of Meridian, Christopher Yardley, 26, of Boise and Jeremy Riggi, 26, of Boise arranged for a meeting with an undercover officer near the intersection of Eagle and Ustick.

The three men arrived with six pounds of marijuana and sold it to the officer. All three were arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on charges of conspiracy to traffic marijuana.

Investigators were able to gather information that led them to a storage shed at an apartment complex on West Bloom in Boise where they found another five pounds of marijuana.

Officers also gathered information about a fourth man involved. Michael Tate, 27, of Boise was arrested in an apartment on South Main in Star. He was booked into the Ada County Jail on a charge of delivering marijuana.

Through their investigation, detectives learned of a house in Canyon County where more marijuana was being stored. Detectives went to the home on Ronco Avenue in Caldwell where then found approximately 105 pounds of marijuana hidden inside.

The drug was packaged for sale. No people were at the house.

The street value of the marijuana is estimated to be about $300,000.

The marijuana was not being grown in the home but is believed to have come from large grows found in rural areas of Idaho earlier this year. No additional information is available because of an ongoing federal investigation.

"We believe a lot of this marijuana is a direct result of those grows," Lt. Sahni said.

All four men were arraigned in court Friday afternoon. Additional arrests are pending.
