SEASIDE, Ore. - A 20-year-old man from The Dalles has been arrested on forgery charges in connection with fake $100 bills that were passed in Seaside, one of them at a photography studio where a keepsake picture was taken.

Jorge Luis Alvarado Sanchez is being transported to the Clatsop County jail pending his arraignment on four counts of first-degree forgery.

The counterfeit bills were passed in Seaside on July 17 and 18. The keepsake photo was the best evidence investigators could have asked for and police say they got multiple calls from people who knew who the people were in the picture.

Sanchez (seen in the photo on the far left) was taken into custody on Wednesday. The woman seen on the left was released after police interviewed her. The remaining two are still at large and police say they are considered suspects in the case.
