LEWISTON - That wild llama is still wandering Lapwai Road in Lewiston.
Residents said the spotted llama has done quite a bit of property damage since it first appeared over a week ago. It's been helping itself to neighborhood gardens and shrubbery.
Nez Perce County Sheriff's Lieutenant Bill Madison said they still haven't identified the llama's owner. Madison said he's aware of the llama's destructive nature and if an opportunity arises, they will attempt to safely and humanely bring it in.
If you see the llama or know the owner, you are asked to call the sheriff's office.
