BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Ada County Deputies helped rescue a kitty that fell down a well about 20 feet earlier this week.

On Wednesday, the sheriff's office says deputies Ben Sterling and Chris Bones well called out to a home near Eagle Road after a cat somehow fell into a two-foot wide well.

The sheriff's office says the cat could be seen treading water and knew it wouldn't be too long before it drowned.

The deputies found items around the property including a stick to help pull the animal up. The homeowner, who had an oxygen tank nearby, gave the cat kitty CPR.

The cat was doing better when the deputies went back on patrol but was described as being grouchy.
