BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - As the legislative session winds down Add the Words protesters "wrapped" the Idaho Capitol building by having people surround it. In an effort to get a hearing on the bill.

This was different from Add the Four Words which is a separate group that has gotten national attention by blocking off parts of the capitol building, and being arrested.

For the past eight years members of the LGBT community have tried to get a bill passed that would add protections for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in the state.

Currently people can be denied work or even housing because of their sexual orientation.

Some lawmakers have said in the past they want to see data supporting the claim, and they would look into the matter.

Although those in the LGBT community said their is no data because no place of work or housing would actually put that down on paper as the reason why.

According to some legislatures the issue is not scheduled to be brought up in this session. Add the Words said they plan to work until the next session to get something done.
