BOISE, Idaho- For the sixth year in a row, the Boise Bicycle Project gave away 300 bikes to children.
On Saturday the children, who were selected by area schools and charitable organizations, received a bike and a helmet. Officers will the Boise Police Department also helped teach the rules of the road.
"Each year we do the Christmas Kids Bike Giveaway, and it's a ton of work for our staff and volunteers, but we have witnessed the incredible end result," said Jimmy Hallyburton, BBP Executive Director.
