HAILEY, Idaho (KBOI) -- A duo of award winning movie producers are planning to make a film about Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl.
Screen Writer Mark Boal is working on a script for Director Katheryn Bigelow, according to Bigelow's Press Representative.
In 2010, Bigelow and Boal's 'The Hurt Locker' won six Oscars at the Academy Awards. 'Zero Dark Thirty' also won an Oscar in 2013.
The U.S. Army is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Bergdahl's capture in Afghanistan. Bergdahl was held captive by the Taliban for nearly five years before a controversial deal led to his release. He was freed in exchange for five Taliban detainees held at Guantanamo Bay.
Bergdahl is now receiving treatment at an Army medical center in San Antonio, Texas.
