BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Firefighters have put out a large two-alarm house fire on the Boise Bench after an explosion.

The report came in about 2:50 p.m.

The fire was called in to the home on N. Wilson Court, which is off of Roosevelt. A neighbor told a KBOI 2News reporter that an explosion occurred shortly before the blaze.

The explosion could be felt throughout the neighborhood.

"We felt the explosion at our house a few blocks away, glad that the kids were not at the school behind the house," Miranda wrote on the KBOI Facebook page.

A man inside the house received minor injuries and was treated on scene. The house received heavy damage. Firefighters were spotted on scene helping revive a dog.
