EAGLE, Idaho (KBOI) -- A man has been taken to the hospital after a home robbery in Eagle, the Ada County Sheriff's Office says.
Deputies say the armed robbery occurred at a home in a neighborhood east of Horseshoe Bend Road late Friday afternoon.
When deputies arrived, they say they found an injured man who required medical attention.
They say the man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Deputies say the man told dispatchers that two men and a woman attacked him and robbed him, and at least one of them took off in a pickup truck filled with items from his home. The victim told officials he knew all three people.
Eagle PD did a traffic stop on a truck near Highway 44 and Short Road in Star and says they located items from the home.
Late Friday night, police say they arrested the driver of the pickup, Duane Roche, 46, of Meridian and charged him with robbery, aggravated battery and possession of a controlled substance.
Police say Roche hit the man at the home and caused severe head trauma. They say the victim told them that Roche also choked him until he was almost unconscious.
Officers say they have also located a woman who was with Roche at the home at the time of the robbery, but haev not charged her yet.
Police are still looking for another man believed to have been involved.
